Video Production/Animation

Submarine

In order to fulfill the plans that my group had for our Madhappy project, I needed to learn how to use Cinema 4D. With the help of a handy Cineversity tutorial , I was able to gain a broader understanding of the program as a whole. The tutorial covered basic modelling with generator objects, splines, and cloners, as well as lighting, animation, and rendering. I strongly recommend this tutorial series to anyone who has a basic understanding of animation and wants a crash course in Cinema 4D.

I really enjoyed using this animation software and I plan to continue to grow in my animation skills, perhaps by branching into Blender. Before this project, I had only ever animated in After Effects and Adobe Flash, both of which are 2D animation-focused. Cinema 4D allowed for much grander and realistic designs than I ever imagined. Check out the final rendered animation that I created below!
